Model
P-3, Learjet Dropsondes, King Air, S-Pol, SMART-R, DOWs, X-Pol, MCLASS, MGLASS, ISS Radiosondes, NWS Radiosondes, FC, Mobile Mesonet, MIPS, DRI, SRL, GLOW, HARLIE Weak quasi-stationary cold frontal boundary sagging southward toward OK/KS border. WCR down. Learjet made two dropsonde passes. Boundary well defined on ELDORA and ground radars. Entire boundary had growing CU and small CBs. Cells initiated along boundary. P-3 abandoned region due to second trip returns. P-3 overflew S-Pol and Homestead. Good ground data from 1930-2130 UTC.
11 June CI 1600 0000 S-Pol Area Operational
Research
Model
P-3, Learjet Dropsondes, DC-8, Proteus, S-Pol, DOWs, X-Pol, MGLASS, ISS Radiosondes, NWS Radiosondes, Mobile Mesonet, MIPS, DRI, SRL, GLOW, HARLIE Boundary in Elmwood, OK area nearly stalled 15km SE of S-Pol. DC-8 and Proteus performed E-W transects. P-3 performed box-shaped surveillance transects of boundary. Clouds formed along the boundary but not deep convection. Learjet released three lines of dropsondes.

Model
P-3, DC-8, Falcon (first), Falcon (second), King Air, X-Pol, S-Pol, SMART-R, DOWs, MCLASS, MGLASS, ISS Radiosondes, NWS Radiosondes, TAOS, FC, Mobile Mesonet, MIPS, DRI, SRL, GLOW, HARLIE Light N/NE winds. Leandre II taken in horizontal pointing mode, Falcon downward pointing DIAL and HRDL crossed path of Leandre II measurements. HRDL down after 1750Z. King Air at intersection line between vertical curtain of DIAL and horizontal sheet of Leandre II. Provided information about low level moisture and temp distribution during CBL growth. DC-8 larger scale mapping information. A successful mission. Dataset examines moisture variations during development of daytime CBL and sounding representativeness.
